Celebrate a Lifetime and We Take Care of the Rest

The passing of a loved one is never easy, and sometimes it comes when you least expect it. The matter can even get complicated when you must file death certificates and make funeral arrangements. During these difficult and confusing times, our team at the Cremation Society of Washington can provide you with the needed services so your family can focus on grieving and caring for one another.

We have created a seamless process that makes it easy to prepare the necessary paperwork and other essentials for cremation services in Vancouver, WA. You’ll work with a seasoned funeral director who will work with you while providing affordable and dignified cremation services.

Why More People Prefer Cremation Services

Cremation is fast becoming the favored option for the final disposition of a loved one’s remains. This preference is due to several crucial reasons:

A Seamless and Straightforward Cremation Process

At the Cremation Society of Washington, we provide straightforward cremation services in Vancouver, WA. We understand that making funeral arrangements can be a hassle with all the necessary documentation, permits and other requirements you need to file.

With the help of our funeral director, we can provide you with compassionate services so you can rest assured that we have everything covered.

We use an easy four-step process:

Office Notification

The process begins when you notify our office that your loved one has passed away. You can call us toll-free at 844-682-6800 or submit a service request online. Our team will request some essential information such as the name of the attending physician, the next of kin, where your loved one died, and the size of the person who passed away.

Cremation Arrangements

After gathering all the essential information, we can make the cremation arrangements. You can do this online or with the help of our funeral director over the phone. Some of our clients have pre-planned these arrangements ahead of time. If that is the case, we can pull up the planned setup and perform the cremation rites as requested.

Documentary Requirements

We will prepare documents you need to sign and email to you or the deceased’s next of kin. You need to fill out these documents and sign them. You can accomplish them digitally through your smartphone. Once you have them filled out, send them back to us so we can schedule the cremation service and file your loved one’s death certificate.

Cremation Proper and Return of Ashes

It may take two weeks to schedule the actual cremation of the deceased’s remains. This timeframe is due to several factors, such as the scheduling in our facility, the completion of the necessary paperwork, and the availability of the medical examiner.

Our funeral director will send you a calendar link detailing the date and time of the cremation service. The schedule will also indicate when you can retrieve the urn containing the ashes of your dearly departed. In addition, we can also ship the remains to you for your convenience. Furthermore, another option is to have the ashes scattered at sea.

Planning Ahead

As mentioned earlier, we have clients who pre-arrange their cremation services ahead of time. We record the arrangements you want to make and keep a copy of the file in our possession. When the time comes, all your family and friends have to do is call our office, and we will prepare everything as planned to ease the burden on your loved ones.

Pre-planning cremation services follow the same four-step process mentioned earlier. We only need to prepare the documents and other paperwork in advance.
