Skagit County Cremation Services
Cost Comparison

As we cross Skagit County in our line of duty, we see wild coastline, fertile valleys and breathtaking mountain views, so we know it’s a great place for a road trip, especially in the summer. Trying to find the right cremation provider when you’ve just lost a loved one can seem like a road trip too – one without signposts. That’s why we’ve drawn up a cremation price comparison list for your convenience.

We researched local funeral directors in June 2017 and compared the prices of their basic services of a funeral director, transfer of remains from place of death (usually within 30 miles), refrigeration and shelter of remains, alternative cremation container, cremation process and temporary urn.

Please note: some firms include additional services whether you ask for them or not.

What We Offer

What We Offer

Affordable and straightforward cremation packages

Simple cremations are all we offer. We do not sell caskets, do embalming or provide limousines and hearses. Our lower overhead cost allows us to offer our services at 20%-80% less than traditional funeral homes.

Pre-planned cremations that lock in today’s price

By selecting and paying for a cremation in advance, you guarantee your loved ones will not have to find the money to pay for your funeral.

Swift response when death occurs

Our caring team strives to arrive within one to two hours at the place of death after being notified of your loved one’s passing.

A Local company serving local needs

Cremation Society of Washington is family owned and operated, and this makes all the difference in terms of service and cost. We don’t have to answer to owners who do not live in our community, which is the case with most other cremation providers in our state.

Available 24/7 to answer your calls

We are here for you. Our phones are manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You can always count on us to be available to assist families, hospice and other medical personnel when they need us.

How To Plan a Cremation With Us

To arrange a cremation in advance, click the Start Arrangements button, and choose one of the two direct cremation packages we offer by checking the relevant box. The only difference is one covers when death occurs anywhere in the world and the other covers when death occurs within 75 miles of your residence.

Once you have chosen your direct cremation package, go through the options to the right and make your selection.

The price of every selection you make is clearly marked. Once you have made your selections, you will be given a breakdown of the total price of the cremation, including taxes. There will be no hidden costs.

Within one to three business days, official pre-need documents will arrive that require your signature. Sign and return them to our office in the provided postage free envelope. It’s that easy.
